The Surf Lodge

The perfect accommodation for solo travelers, backpackers or groups. Our Wellenkind Surf Lodge offers sturdy, handmade wooden beds in spacious dorms of 4 and 8. Enjoy the warm and inviting atmosphere.

Despite the shared nature of the accommodation, we place great emphasis on comfort and privacy. For this purpose, the beds are equipped with private curtains, electricity and light. Create your own little sanctuary in your dorm room.

Our surf camp accommodations are comfortable and cozy. We offer several options including rooms with multiple bed occupancy, private rooms in the hotel or private apartments. Each accommodation is carefully selected to provide the perfect balance between comfort and surfing experience

Yes, all of our accommodations, are located in close proximity to the surf camp and surf school. You also only have to travel a short distance to get to the surf spots. This allows you to save precious time and spend more time on the water.

The safety of our guests is our top priority. All our accommodations are carefully selected and regularly checked to ensure a safe stay. The accommodations also have lockers where you can safely store your valuables. Please bring a safety lock for the Surflodge.

Yes, our accommodations offer wifi access so you can stay connected with friends and family and share your surfing adventures. Since this year we have fiber optic internet, so perfect as well to get some meetings done quickly.

Yes, we also offer accommodations that are suitable for families. Whether you are traveling with children or are a larger group, we have suitable options to meet the needs of families and larger group.

 Yes, you are welcome to bring your own surf equipment and store it in the accommodation.

In addition to accommodation, we also offer a variety of additional activities and services to make your surfing stay even more exciting. These include of course our Wellenkind surf lessons for different levels, surf skates, surf store and rental, fitness & sports program, as well as occasional excursions and partnerships for leisure.

Yes, our surf store also serves as reception. Outside of opening hours, the rest of the team will be happy to assist you with any questions, concerns or for recommendations. You can always contact our team for assistance and to make sure your stay goes smoothly

Our surf lodge is equipped with the basic amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. These include comfortable beds, clean linens, towels, a hairdryer and lockers. We also offer common areas, kitchens or terraces where you can relax and interact with other surfers.

The surf lodge, apartments and also the bungalows in the hotel have kitchens where you can prepare your own meals. This gives you the flexibility to prepare your favorite dishes and save money. Near the accommodations you will also find a few restaurants and cafes if you prefer to eat out. At the partner hotel you can book your meals as you wish.

Directly next to the Surflodge is a mini-market where you can buy the most important food and toiletries. Alternatively, there are larger Spar supermarkets in Costa Calma and a Mercadona in Esquinzo. It is also on the way from the airport to La Pared in Lidl to buy a few things.

Yes, our surf lodge is ideal for single travelers. You have the possibility to choose between the 4-bed or 8-bed shared room, where you can meet new friends from the surfing community.

 

Rental car: If you want to explore other places on the island outside of surfing, we recommend arriving with a rental car.

Shuttle: You can also book a shuttle bus directly from the airport to the hotel La Pared. You can usually find the best offers via Google. Providers are for example shuttledirect, canaryshuttle, holidaytaxi, ….. As destination you enter the hotel La Pared. We recommend to book the shuttle at least 3 days in advance.

Public bus: You can take line 10 or line 1 to Costa Calma and from Costa Calma you can take line 4 to La Pared (limited availability). If line 4 does not run, you can take a cab from Costa Calma to La Pared for about 10-15€. You can find the plans on tiadhe.com

Taxi: Probably the most comfortable, but also the most expensive option is to use a cab. You pay from the airport to us about 100€.

 

La Pared offers connections to public transport. Nearby you will find bus stops from which you can easily get to other places. However, the times are not always reliable and limited. Our team is at your disposal to give you information about the best connections and schedules.

Yes, free parking is available near the surf lodge. You can safely park your vehicle so that you are comfortably mobile during your stay.
